I enjoy working with college students because they are open to learning and genuinely interested in improving their health. We have the opportunity to teach students how to navigate the healthcare system and advocate for themselves. Watching students gain confidence through education is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

Ten years on the move

Before coming to LSU, I spent 10 years as a travel nurse, working on both the East and West Coasts. I enjoyed the flexibility and getting to experience life in different parts of the country.  

Everyone deserves a seat at the table

I'm passionate about fairness and advocacy. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect, listened to, and given the information they need to make informed decisions about their health.

Alternate career

If I didn't have this career, I would be a teacher. I enjoy educating others and helping them gain confidence through knowledge.
